SISTERS ROSE
This rose is a special reminder of our rare
and precious kind of love.
As sisters we grew up side by side,
we care and shared, we laughed and cried.
And just as each petal of a rose unfurls,
we soon no longer were little girls.
Although we're left our childhoold behind,
our hearts are forever interwined.
We've shared our joys; together we've borne
our trials and troubles, life's prickliy thorns.
I know the friendship that binds us together
